About BetterworksBetterWorks provides enterprise software to easily manage strategic plans, collaborative goals (OKR's) and ongoing performance conversations. Betterworks software helps high-performing companies get aligned, and execute more effectively.What You'll Be Doing
As a developer at BetterWorks you will be responsible for developing an enterprise-class continuous performance management system. You will:

• Build a complex meetings application that will enable performance management and drive decision-making at scale in large enterprises.
• Implement an architecture that will scale as the product grows.
• Ensure your code is reliable by writing unit tests
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve your objective

What'll Help You Be Successful

• 3+ years of experience with NodeJS as a backend using a web framework like Koa, Express, or Hapi.
• Working experience of AWS lambdas.
• Working experience in REST APIs.
• Working experience with Postgres or similar relational database.
• Strong engineering practices - pair programming, test-driven development, git-flow.
• Working experience in Python is a plus.
• Exposure to SQLAlchemy is a plus
• Experience with Scrum methodologies and remote teams is a plus.
