Medtronic\xe2\x80\x99s Cardiovascular (CV) group is looking for a motivated Sr. Software Engineer to work in Incident Management role in continuation/sustaining engineering for Patient Management Operating Unit. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all Software Operations major Incidents.

Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
Primary escalation for high priority Incidents.
Coordination of a Major Incident to ensure prompt resolution.
Facilitates communication between Software Ops teams and Stakeholders during a Major Incident.
Initiates Major Incident call.
Leads, drives, facilitates, and chairs all investigation activities, meetings, and conference calls.
Engages, assesses, and coordinates resources for Major Incident calls
Frequently informs internal stakeholders of impact, diagnosis activities & statuses. Leveraging technology to issue all communications and provides key stakeholder management
Facilitates data gathering as needed
Confirms service restoration
Gathers information required for Major Incident postmortem; forms collaborative action plans with specific actions, roles, and deadlines, and ensures these are completed
Ownership of the Software Ops Major Incident Management Process
Focus on continuous improvement to Major Incident Management process. Support and nurture process improvements and knowledge base improvements
Continually maintain and develop tools and resources to manage major incidents effectively
Willing to support incident response outside of normal business hours
