Planning and Manufacturing (P&M) technology portfolio vision is to optimize demand and supply to serve customers and drive profitable growth through inventory optimization for Nike Consumer Channels and its Partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In this role we are looking for a high potential Engineer with strong technical expertise to develop products and capabilities aligned to the (P&M) product roadmap. You are thoughtful, aspirational and adept to understand business and technical requirements. Expertise to define low level design and implement scalable solutions to deliver expected business outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Technology Responsibilities

• Full stack application development with emphasis on distributed systems concepts.
• Implement Micro service architecture principles and practices.
• Deliver software applications using languages (Python,Golang,JavaScript).
• Develop and Test software applications using TDD,BDD methodology.
• Deploy applications using IAC, CI/CD tools into Public cloud providers (Azure, Amazon,GCP)
• Collaborate with Product Tech Leads to understand requirements to define scope and estimate level of effort.
• Deploy solutions adhering to established Architectural guidelines and principles.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies on an ongoing basis and perform work through Agile practices.
• Design & Implement Scalable solutions to meet Planning Business Community requirements.
• Co-ordinate the deployment activities globally and support System Regression, performance test.
• Develop custom product scripts using the proprietary language of products being implemented.
• Deliver solutions utilizing Agile methodology on continuous iterative deployment.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers, Lead engineers and team members to understand requirements , design and quality aspects.
• Ensure full context and understanding of customers and business requirements to create valuable solutions.
• Help build an effective team and partnership with stakeholders.
• Establish trust and build strong and effective partnership with technical leaders and architects in various functions across regions/global locations
• Partner effectively with vendor partners contingent workforce to ensure delivery and positive results

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant subject area related to information technology
• 3+ years' diverse experience working with Supply Chain Platforms (SAP, JDA, Blue yonder, Oracle, or O9).
• 3+ years' in development of applications using cloud providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working on multiple projects using Agile Methodologies (SAFE).
• Experience in working with Containers, Serverless and Big data computation.
• Experience in creating and deployments of APIs (Rest ,GraphQL)
• Experience in writing SQL,Gremlin Queries for data quality and validations.
• Experience in working with programming languages JavaScript, python or go.
• Experiences creating reusable libraries for data transformations.
• Experience in applying pattern-based architecture, governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and deployments
• Strong experience in the CI/CD and automated deployment of code across environment.
• Ability to Create automate unit tests, regression and integration test for cloud solutions.
• Experience in full life-cycle solution delivery projects.
• Experienced in application and system performance monitoring and tuning to achieve desired results.
• Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to performing technical quality deliverables and Continuous release cycles
• Diverse experience in databases, designs, constructs, and utilities
• Comfortable working in a multi-tasking, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams across global locations
• Passion for building trust, coaching, teaching, mentoring and learning.
