Software Engineer II
It\xe2\x80\x99s your chance to make a mark in the martech (marketing technology) by owning and creating next generation products that customers love. The job is to redefine how users interact with brands in each step of the customer lifecycle journey.

Role
As a Software Engineer II you will play a pivotal role in making our Publishing product highly successful, by leveraging your expertise to implement and maintain complex features while ensuring quality, high-availability and continued innovation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the product roadmap
• Participate in technical planning and design reviews for feature development
• Build software that works well (quality), stable and secure
• Manage and innovate on our API integration layer for social networks
• Improve throughput of data flowing through the product
• Improve code quality by applying solid design principles
• Write unit tests for all new code
• Perform extensive code reviews
• Participate in an on-call rotation and incident management

Qualifications

• An engineer with BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• A person with 2+ years of experience in building enterprise grade single page applications
• Well versed with one or more of these technologies:

• 2+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Slick
• Experience with SQL , NoSQL
• Experience in Microservices
• Experience in working with Kubernetes and Docker
• An engineer who writes testable and modular code
• Someone who understands git, pull requests and good software development practices
• A believer in being Agile and not just doing Agile.

• Good to have

• Working knowledge of Kafka , Spark , Jenkins
• Experience with React.js and/or moderate level expertise in JavaScript (ES6)
