Process Overview*

Consumer Servicing & Operations Technology team provides and delivers technology solutions to support the Consumer Operations and Home Loans lines of business. The team's goal is to drive the optimal technology tools and platforms that enable associates to deliver on the customer experience and contribute to the long-term, profitable growth. The team delivers technology through robust and scalable applications developed on various platforms.

Enterprise Claims Technology (ECT) is the enterprise platform for all case creation and tracking across various lines of business in the bank. ECT technology area has multiple applications that enable claims creation and maintenance. ECT enables end to end visibility of claims status and increases efficiency and accuracy of claims processing. There are multiple applications which are part of the ECT umbrella, these application collectively help in claims creation and maintenance process. Maintaining these applications and making sure these applications are up and running with little and no impact to business processes is the key responsibility of the ECT technology team

Responsible for maintaining the enterprise claims Pega based application(s) as individual contributor or through a team. Strive and make sure that the production environment is up and running and make sure there are less or no impacts to the business functionalities. Applies own judgment to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed by project teams. Role is capable of finding out new methods and processes to approach complex situations in the respective area(s) of expertise. Requires good knowledge on Pega tools and functionalities. Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise, while adapting standard principles.

Responsibilities*

  • -Perform activities specific to Production Services roles, including: Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, Application Monitoring, Service Analytics and Reporting, Production Governance, Triage, Associate Support, and Change/Configuration Management;
  • -Identify possible production failure scenarios, create incident tickets, enhancements and/or problem tickets in ticket tracking system, and communicate effectively with development and internal business operations teams;
  • -Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, as well as maintain metrics to help develop analysis that will drive improvement in all areas of Production Services;
  • -Create and enhance administrative, operational and technical policies and procedures, and adopt best practice guidelines, standards and procedures;
  • -Take ownership of escalations and perform trouble shooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query and programming skills;
  • -Perform analytical, technical, and administrative work in planning, installing, designing and supporting new and existing equipment and software under moderate supervision;
  • -Resolve complex issues and consult with end users to determine optimal configuration of equipment and applications;
  • -Work on problems of minimal-moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors;
  • -Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action, as well as increased awareness and exposure to basic technical principles, concepts and techniques

Foundational skills*
  • -Pega Senior System Architect/System Architect with proven experience in designing, developing and supporting high volume transactional n-tier enterprise components/applications. Will be working as part of team
  • -7+ years of total experience in J2EE / .net and PRPC
  • -3+ years in PRPC - Pega V 6.x / Pega 7.x / Pega 8.x
  • -Strong in PEGA concepts and implementation experience with PEGA connectors, performance tuning, decision trees, listeners , UI design, Integration, Security Model etc.
  • -SQL/Database concepts
  • -Experience in with full lifecycle PEGA implementations (preferably PEGA 7)
  • -Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment
  • -Ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch customer experience.
  • -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
  • -Provide leadership and deep technical expertise in all aspects of solution design and application development for specific business environment
  • -Should be able to collaborate with external technology team to coordinate delivery of software solution.
  • -Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special technology initiatives or operations.
  • -Strong communication and presentation skills.
