Responsibilities*

The Salesforce System Administrator will play a key role in developing and supporting an intuitive and flexible Marketing Cloud, and establishing best practices in support of low code, native solutions. The System Admin will participate in the Marketing Cloud build and testing, will serve as the in-house Salesforce expert, and will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the platform. The administrator will interface with functional analysts and product management to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes required for Marketing Cloud.
  • Support multiple teams for Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
  • Handle basic administrative functions including configure Marketing cloud production utilizing industry, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields, production support, and other routine tasks.
  • Have consultative conversations with teams/individuals looking to leverage Salesforce to solve larger complex business problems, providing guidance and proposals as to what Salesforce solutions would best suit their needs, and executing said solutions via agile development.
  • Coordinate and work with Salesforce support team to troubleshoot issues and to develop error mitigation plans to avoid future issues.
  • Gather detailed requests from stakeholders for improvements or changes to the system and prioritize and implement these changes as appropriate.
  • Review the system on an appropriate cadence to evaluate outdated processes, fields and design elements.
  • Actively pursue additional technical knowledge of Salesforce functionalities and apply learnings to new business needs or existing processes.
  • Define and enforce strategy for low code/best practice architecture across the Salesforce org.
  • Flexible enough to adjust change in work, Technology, Team etc.

Experience Range*
  • 04 Years to 06 Years of experience.
Foundational Skills*
  • 5 years of experience in Database administration on any Database platforms.
  • 3+ years of proven Salesforce administration (required) and Salesforce Developer (preferred) experience.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales/Service Clouds (required) and Marketing Cloud (preferred).
  • Preferred Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin Certification, advanced Certifications.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes and translate them into easily understandable requirements or training materials.
  • Experience in REST/ SOAP Web Services.
  • Creative and strong analytical thinker leading system design discussions.
  • Excellent SQL Skills.
  • Experience with brokerage or banking services a plus.
  • Positive attitude with a service mentality and a sense of humor.
  • A problem solver who is always trying to improve the way things are done.
  • A proactive self-starter who challenges the status quo.
Desired Skills*
  • Advanced Salesforce Certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education/experience in relative fields.
