Where you fit In this role, you will support the planning, development and use of middleware technologies and services for integrating systems and exposing, transporting, and consuming data in a secure and reliable manner across a hybrid of applications, services and trading partners both on-premises and in the Cloud. What’s the role? As Software Engineer, you will translate business requirements/user stories into solutions. Other Responsibilities are as follows:

• Design End to End solution to fulfil the requirements and ensure timely and quality deliverables as per Shell standards by pro-actively managing work and mitigating security risks.
• Proactively engage with team members in the virtual DevOps teams, HR Services teams and Legacy systems teams.
• Contribute to the Agile environment by thinking out of the box and continuously wanting to structurally improve the ways of working, the technical stability and the speed in which changes are delivered

What We Need from You

• Must have at least 3+ years of experience in IT of which 1+ is in HR IT Solutions
• Preferably with one year (1) experience in end-to-end implementation as an implementation partner or as a key stakeholder in the client IT team
• Have Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Technical competence – HR IT application Implementation and/or support experience. Good to have prior experience working on the Assignment Pro platform
• Having experience working on IT Service Management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure)
• Knowledgeable in Agile framework and relevant tools (VSTS, ServiceNow etc.)
• Experience in International Mobility (End to End Process Understanding).
• Having exposure to Assignment Pro or any other international mobility application configuration, implementation/support knowledge would be a big plus
• Working/Hand-on knowledge of SQL is desirable
• Good understanding of integration across applications (both HR applications and non-HR applications)
• Knowledge of the overall HCM process
