Software Engineer (Back End)
Location: Pune, India.

Responsibilities:

• As a Backend Engineer, you will design, develop and deploy backend services using nodeJs, REST and NoSQL with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability
• You will develop all server-side logic and refactor existing services to bring greater stability and scalability to our APIs
• Ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness to front-end requests
• Diagnose and correct any flaws in the code
• Create enough test suites to guarantee that all functionality stated in the design is satisfied
• Build a Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipeline for nodeJS Backend services
• Make sure that the code is incredibly resilient and capable of providing excellent performance to the end-user
• Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements
• Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
• Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development
• Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods

• Consults Product Managers and Tech Leads in the requirement definition concerning the development of the requirement

• At least 3 years of Software Development professional experience
• Excellent application development background and understanding of Web Application technologies and techniques
• Hands-on development and Proficient excellence in Node.js building REST based micro services
• Back-end: JavaScript, Node.js, REST, Micro services, MongoDB, NoSQL
• TypeScript experience is desired
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js frameworks such as Express.js and NEST
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and understand how to apply them to design pragmatic solutions
• Proven ability to define and implement effective software development methodologies
• Experience development of large scale consumer facing micro-services solution is highly recommended
• Should able to communicate and co-ordinate with distributed team across the world

• Strong understanding of AWS Devops, Jenkins, Docker, CI/ CD process
• Working experience in Software Life Cycles for Medical Device Development (International Standards: ISO 13485:2016)
• Understanding of data security concepts
• Experience with SaaS products and large customer bases
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
