Position Overview: As a Software Engineer and Networking Expert at Orage Technologies Pvt. Ltd. you will be a key player in the development and optimization of our software solutions, with a particular focus on networking aspects. This role requires a deep understanding of networking principles and protocols, coupled with proficiency in programming languages. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions that leverage their strong networking knowledge. Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development:

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop scalable and efficient software solutions.

• System Architecture:

• Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and maintainability.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies that enhance the performance and functionality of our software.

• Quality Assurance:

• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of software applications.
• Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation for software development processes, APIs, and system architecture.
• Assist in the preparation of user manuals and training materials as needed.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall success of the team.
• Collaborate with other engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.

• Network Application Development:

• Design, implement, and maintain network-centric applications and protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking features into existing software solutions.

• Protocols and Standards:

• Stay updated on industry-standard networking protocols and standards.
• Implement and adhere to best practices in network security and performance optimization.

• Programming Expertise:

• Utilize strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, C#, JavaScript to develop and enhance software applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug networking issues in software applications.

• Network Architecture:

• Contribute to the design and architecture of network systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Evaluate and recommend networking technologies to enhance the functionality and performance of our software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to the position.
• Proven experience in software development with a strong emphasis on networking.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud networking technologies and services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
