The Platform Security team helps secure the cloud-based platforms on which Hotstar services are built. We do this by developing and supporting a variety of foundational tools and by offering consulting services. We are looking for a new team member to work on our tools for authentication, authorization, key management, certificate management, and other security activities at Hotstar.

Your Key Responsibilities Securely stream content in web/mobile apps/living room devices based applications
Design and implement systems that enhance the security of hotstar products and infrastructure
Author & maintain core encryption/authentication/authorization services, libraries, and frameworks.
Model suspicious behavior and author ways to prevent it
Build anamoly detection for hotstar
Building ways to authenticate the identity of devices
Design and implement abuse detection systems
Identify and deliver high impact security solutions at Hotstar scale
Worked with a service mesh to encrypt communication
Deep understanding of cryptography applied to authentication and implicit and explicit roots of trust applied in client applications and devices.
Experience with distributed systems or cloud-based computing

What to Bring 3 years of software development experience
2 years of industry experience developing and implementing security features and solutions
Experience finding ways to enable other engineers to create more secure products by default without requiring security expertise
Ability to define short- and long-term technical goals
Professional software development experience
Experience with Python and Java
Familiarity with computer security principles and practices
Experience designing and deploying public key infrastructure, authorization systems, or key management systems
Experience advocating for technical security solutions across functional domains
Experience applying fundamental security concepts to systems
Experience with either device security concepts or cloud security concepts
Education: Any Graduate
Industry: IT-Hardware/Networking, Telecom
