DESCRIPTION
Digital Catalog team supports Amazon\'s eBooks, ePeriodicals, Amazon Video, Amazon Music, Audible, Comixology and 40+ Amazon subscriptions across all market places across the globe. Your work will be highly visible to Amazon customers and internal stakeholders. You will be joining a team working on scalable web services using cloud technologies.
You will drive key engineering and business innovations that impact Amazon\'s long-term vision in Digital Catalog Store. You will be responsible for building fluid applications that interact with large scale distributed systems leveraging cutting edge technology. In this position you will partner with product managers, business teams, data scientists and other internal partners.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Chennai, TN, IND
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent
