• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 2+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with large scale, end-to-end systems design
• Experience taking a leading role in building complex s/w.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
• Experience with high throughput, multi-threaded systems
• Experience implementing and consuming large scale web services
• Development experience defining, developing and maintaining shared libraries, frameworks and tools
• Experience applying a data-driven approach when building software
• Experience is writing well structured and documented code
• Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts
