Be the primary point of contact for all software applications used across the company, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally), CAD/CAM software, and other specialized industry tools.
Provide training and ongoing support to employees on how to effectively use various software applications, troubleshooting issues and optimizing workflows.
Manage the entire lifecycle of software, including procurement, licensing, installation, configuration, updates, and retirement.
Liaise with department heads and users to understand their software needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Coordinate with software vendors for support, upgrades, and new feature implementations.
Work to ensure data consistency and integrity within various software systems, particularly those integrated with manufacturing processes.
Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of our servers (Windows and Linux), workstations, and other network devices. This includes hardware, operating systems, and core IT services.
Configure and maintain network hardware and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, DNS, and DHCP, ensuring secure and consistent connectivity for all operations.
Implement and manage robust security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls. You'll also be responsible for establishing and verifying data backup and disaster recovery procedures to protect critical manufacturing and business data.
Continuously monitor system performance and resource utilization, proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks or issues to ensure optimal system health and uptime.
Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for all IT-related hardware and network issues encountered by employees.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, system processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and routine preventative maintenance to ensure system stability, security, and peak performance.
