Soft Services Manager
Work Dynamics
What this job involves:
Leading on-site operations
Are you a pro at giving on-site support? Working with a team, you'll oversee the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property or facility. You'll also implement building procedures and performance measures--and ensure that they are maintained at all times. Likewise, you'll boost on-site operations by promoting best practices and creating better processes. This job will also entail the question "How do I ensure the safety of my colleagues?" You will do this by promoting adherence to health and safety standards.
Winning our clients' trust
As the facilities manager, you'll be working frequently with clients, so you'll need to build strong relationships with them. Likewise, you'll need to be proactive and engaging; and make sure that the clients' expectations are met each and every time. You will also be the go-to person for any facilities-related concerns.
Keeping an eye on budget and contracts
Do you have a solid background in finance management? As the person in charge, you will take care of the site's financial operations. Also part of your job is to coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and make sure that they deliver quality work practices according to the contract, and at the right cost.
Promoting teamwork across the board

Prime Job Function:
Oversee work of Housekeeping & Security personnel. Ensuring occupational health and safety standards are met.
Tracking and responding to environmental, health, safety and security issues.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the facility/property management service delivery system on the client site (Abbott I&D)
Single point of JLL Management Control for FM services at the site - day to day liaison and relationship management
Interface with Soft services and Engineering team at site to identify areas of improvement.
Ensure achievement of Facilities soft services key performance indicators.
Managing risk in soft services operations at site. Continuous improvement in processes and savings initiatives, replication of best practices.
Inventory Management.
Preparing/ Filling - GMP documentation for Pest Control and Waste Management.
Ensuring compliance with Abbott Quality & EHS audit standards & procedures.
Support Abbott Amin Team in Asset Management.
Ensuring the readiness of BCP & all critical incidents are managed satisfactorily.
Closing of open points identified in Internal as well as External (Quality & EHS) audits.
Conducting regular trainings for the team at site to enhance their skills, promoting open and collaborative working relationship, motivate and fosters "can do" attitude within the team to achieve the set goals.
Evaluating performance of vendors rendering services at site & work with the vendor partners for performance improvement as & when required.
Ensuring Safe work practices are followed by the site team / Contractors/Vendors to eliminate the risk of disruption to operations
Ensure all safety procedures are available & followed at site.
Preparing and managing operational budgets and savings. (Oversee the development and management of the capital and expense budgets.)
Support in the implementation of short and long-term Client projects.

Competent and goal-driven
Do you have three to five years' experience of managing a property? If so, you will be a perfect fit for the role. Likewise, an experience in managing commercial contracts and budgets may just help you land this job. You'll also need to be a goal-oriented individual who's an ace in health and safety requirements, vendor management and property technical systems management
Organised and analytical
We're looking for a self-motivated and quick-thinking facilities manager who can solve problems using quantitative methods and holistic approaches. Likewise, we're on the lookout for well-organised leaders who plan tasks in advance and constantly stay ahead of deadlines.
Engaging and professional
A passion for excellence is what makes a great facilities manager. We'll need someone who can do more than the bare minimum to meet our clients' expectations. In this role, you'll also be working with different kinds of people, so you'll need to be an expert in handling them professionally.
