Job Description


About the role

The candidate will be responsible for driving social media for Wells Fargo in India with additional responsibilities of owning key segments of the social media strategy for India & Philippines (I&P). They will be a trusted partner working across teams to build an employer brand and promote the company\'s reputation in the region. They will source and create content for social media and run campaigns in line with business priorities, profiling the key contributions and successes of I&P.

They will tell the I&P story through smart, engaging, visually and graphically rich content across external and Wells Fargo platforms and will oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency. They will partner with enterprise social media team and the I&P talent acquisition team to track and leverage opportunities to position the I&P narrative through Wells Fargo handles and the talent acquisition career site . They will create and run the social media ambassador program, working with senior leaders and managers across I&P.

The candidate will develop and execute successful social media campaigns related to key growth areas in the business, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Social Impact & Sustainability and will measure effectiveness of the social media outreach.

The candidate will also support internal communications for DE&I, across I&P, by partnering with the DE&I lead, to showcase key initiatives and success across different Comms channels.

Skills

  • Nuanced understanding of the financial services domain
  • Advanced story-telling skills and the ability to translate complex financial, business, and technology concepts into social media friendly content and business/technology stories
  • Ability to develop creative and engaging social media content aligned with the company\'s goals and brand
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven experience in building leader brands
  • Track record of using data and analytics to influence content creation strategy
  • Experienced in design, video, and publishing
  • High attention to detail and excellent fact checking skills
  • High levels of responsiveness to evolving situations and ability to react in real time
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in core corporate communications with a global company, with significant focus on external communications, reputation management, social media, and building influence
Educational qualifications
