Binks is looking for a Social Media Executive, who will help one of India’s fastest growing fashion startups navigate the ever-evolving landscape of social media platforms (and of course, create great memes).
Your primary responsibilities will include: ORM for our social channels, such as Instagram and Facebook; management of the posting schedule across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google My Business and YouTube) along with contributing to the team’s idea bank and coordination with freelancers to scale our blog. You’ll report to the Content Manager and also work with them to execute campaigns and new brand IPs. If this sounds up your alley, we’d love to have you on our team! Binks is based out of Bengaluru; this role requires frequent travel to our head office in Peenya (once a week). What you’ll do:

• Execute content per the calendar for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google My Business
• Write captions and copies for social media (cheeky tweets, Insta captions, etc). Help conceptualise reels as well as video ideas
• Coordinate with the design and video teams for social assets
• Interact with DMs, comments, etc on a day-to-day basis to generate brand love amongst customers who write in. Experience using Hootsuite will be a bonus.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the blog (from coordinating with freelance writers to ensuring that the brand metrics are met)
• Report on the effectiveness of the content and outline parameters that can help improve it
• Coordinate influencer collaborations
• Collaborate with our SEO Manager to make our website content more Google-friendly

• 1-2 years of experience managing social media presence in an ad agency or an lifestyle / fashion e-commerce startup
• A writing portfolio you’re proud of (your own blog, Notion page, an Instagram handle, or any other passion project works)
• A bachelor’s degree in literature, mass communication or a related course (optional)
• Basic editing skills to fix messy style issues, typos and misspellings
• The ability to understand data and insights to improve content across platforms

• Active on social media and understand new-age brand content that ticks
