Arm designs technologically sophisticated Cores and System components. Combining these components with Arm CPUs, various sub-system solutions are built to cater to cutting edge market segments like mobiles, servers, AI, automotive, IoT, etc.

Systems Solution team\xe2\x80\x99s mission is to enable our customers deliver a secure, performant, reliable hardware and software that are easy to use! You will be working in a highly focused group within Arm\'s Solution Engineering team, where you will help with development of our next generation compute client and infrastructure SoCs and solutions using innovative technologies, methodologies and tools.



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chip Lead to join our team in developing SoCs based on ARM technology. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design of the SOC from architectural definition all the way through production release.

The ideal candidate person will have demonstrated experience as a leader to influence and drive SOC teams. The candidate should have technical leadership along with ability and desire to be hands on in all phases of development.

  • Lead the development of the SOC\xe2\x80\x99s from concept to production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically spread out teams including software, architecture, and hardware teams to develop high-quality and timely execution.
  • Work cross-functionally to define SOC requirements, including hardware, software, and system-level requirements.
  • Work closely with design, verification, physical design, validation and test teams to ensure that the chip meets the required performance and functional specifications
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize chip-level PPA.
  • Provides technical assistance and mentoring on SoC uArch (from clocks and reset strategies to complex IO)
  • Work with the manufacturing team to ensure a smooth transition from design to production, including resolving any production-related issues.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 18+ Years of experience in the design and development of SOCs, with a number of years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of SOC architectures, including processor cores, memory subsystems, and communication interfaces.
  • Experience with chip design tools and industry-standard EDA tools
  • Ability to meet aggressive targets without compromising on quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and chip production is a plus
  • Bachelors, Master\xe2\x80\x99s or Ph.D. is Electrical or Computer Engineering or Equivalent
