Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution
Manage all site activities including civil works, WTG foundations, electrical works, mechanical erection, commissioning, and handover.
Ensure timely project delivery as per approved schedule and budget.
Planning & Monitoring
Prepare and track execution schedules, manpower deployment, and progress against milestones.
Identify risks, delays, and proactively drive mitigation measures.
Stakeholder Management
Act as single point of contact at site for internal teams, EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and statutory authorities.
Resolve site-level issues, disputes, and bottlenecks effectively.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure execution is as per drawings, technical specifications, and contract terms.
Implement quality checks, inspections, and audits with QA/QC team.
Adhere to all statutory and regulatory compliances.
EHS Leadership
Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with company EHS standards and ISO norms.
Review and monitor site safety plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
People & Resource Management
Lead site staff and contractors, providing guidance and ensuring accountability.
Foster collaboration and capability development within the team.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
Reporting & MIS
Provide regular updates on project progress, cost, safety, and quality metrics to management.
Support project reviews and client presentations as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience: 13.5-18 years in wind power project execution, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership/site head capacity.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of WTG erection, transmission lines, substations, and associated civil/electrical works.
Strong project management, contractor/vendor management, and risk mitigation skills.
Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera and MS Office.
Behavioral Competencies:
Strong leadership with ability to drive performance under challenging site conditions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
High accountability, integrity, and safety orientation.
Strategic mindset with execution excellence.
