Job Description

The role of Site Head in the chemicals industry involves overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing site in Gujarat. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and driving efficiency in line with the company's strategic goals.
Reporting to Managing director you are responsible for:

• Managing end-to-end plant operations to consistently meeting production targets while optimizing efficiency, reducing waste, energy usage, and operational downtime.
• Ensuring high equipment reliability through proactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance practices in collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Upholding product quality, safety, health, and environmental standards by enforcing strict compliance, promoting continuous improvement methodologies, and conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
• Leading and developing a high-performing workforce while managing stakeholder relationships, regulatory compliance, customer audits, and community engagement with a focus on accountability and corporate responsibility.
• Providing strategic leadership by translating corporate objectives into an annual plant business plan, setting clear performance benchmarks, and driving process, capacity, and technology improvements.

A successful Site Head should have:

• BTech/MTech in Chemical engineering with 20+ years of experience in chemicals industry
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in using process simulation and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
