At WeCommunities, we use regenerative farming principles to bring together like-minded people and build and manage communities with sustainable living as our ultimate goal. The collective farms we build follow an agroforestry, natural food forest, and animal husbandry approach with a focus on better soil, water, air, and ecology as longer-term goals. In addition to the farm, the spaces also include a dairy, poultry, community center, guest rooms, and more, all designed with a community-first approach that emphasizes traditional aesthetics and modern functionalities. Our current farms are located on the outskirts of Bengaluru and Gurgaon.

• As a Site Engineer with our Bengaluru office, you will work with our Project Engineers and other construction teams at various locations to manage manpower, machinery and all the resources required for the timely completion of the project. You will also coordinate with other WeCommunities teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising the execution team and bringing prior notice of the management any critical issues in executing the works i.e., related to drawing issues, local problems, hindrances, etc.
• Responsible for checking of all quality and safety aspects at site
• Managing manpower, machinery and all the resources required for the timely completion of the project
• Ensuring no/minimum wastage of materials & control idling of machinery / equipment / labour
• Ensuring proper method of execution by the contractor day to day basis, which is mentioned in tender document/agreement, checking quality of the material supplied by contractor
• Maintaining checklists, pour cards, drawing records, etc.
• Participating in regular project progress meetings
• Ensure efficient housekeeping at site
• Assisting with Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Order Requests
• Preparing regular reports of construction activities, investigating problems and reporting unforeseen conditions at site

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in executing villa & building projects
• Energetic and enthusiastic to be able to handle the strenuous work
• Should be ready to commute or stay in the project location assigned by the company
• Good communication, presentation skills, leadership, self-motivated
• Knowledge, Exposure to MS office & CAD will be helpful
