Shift Leader - Production

You will be working as Shift Leader - Production role reporting to Production Manager and will be part of Motion division Business Area for Motion- IEC LV Motors Division based in Bangalore, India. Lead the production cell area and activity in terms of Safety, Quality , Product Delivery and Continual Improvements.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for allocating work and priority for daily plan executions as per production plan and dispatch priorities.
• Support and initiate improvement in production processes to meet Safety and Quality Standards.
• Take timely decisions on non-conformities, failures and implement CAPA.
• Hold team accountable for achieving the production numbers on consistent basis.
• Recommend process improvements for overall processes & quality system.
• Work towards eliminating production bottlenecks and improve capacity of the plant.
• Reduce overall TPT for manufacturing of products helping reduce overall product lead times.
• Capable to take charge of the production shift and co-ordinate well with Production Manager / Plant Manager appropriately.

Your background

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant functional experience.
• Hands on with Rotor Balancing , Motor Assembly, Bearing Assembly , Shrink fitting / Rotor Turing processes Measurement Techniques / Tooling & Jig qualifications/ Process Qualifications / PPAP.
• Familiar with Machined Process/ Components / Fabrication / Assembly Manufacturing Processes.
• Improvement projects for Safety / Productivity / Quality.
• Skilled in Problem Solving/ Production Technologies / Process Improvements.
