The Ferro- chem. Division, established in 1980, is Indias largest producers of noble Ferro alloys. Its plant located at Vapi, a major industrial hub in Gujarat, is ISO 9001, ISO 14001, & OHSAS 18001 certified. Current plant capacities include 1200 tpa of Ferro Molybdenum, 600 tpa of Ferro Vanadium and 1200 tpa of Ferro Titanium. Major products of the division include, Ferro Molybdenum, Ferro Vanadium and Ferro Titanium.
Noble Ferro Alloys go into the manufacture of alloy steels, high-speed steels and other special grade steels. It infuses anti- abrasive and anti-corrosive properties to steel. Additionally, it finds applications in the manufacture of castings and electrodes and as a catalyst in the Fertilizer Industry.
Having been driven by international market, Pricing fluctuates and shows high volatility thereby posing a different trend in competition and the resultant challenges.Challenges:

Quick redressal of customer grievances.
Conducting customer satisfaction survey to take the feedback from them.
Increase Customer Satisfaction Index by monitoring the areas of improvement suggested in the survey.
Timely delivery of the material.

KRA3 3.Debtors Management
Ensure timely collection of payments in the region to keep receivables under control Execution of the credit policy
Maintaining and updating of outstanding of Northern region.
Ensuring timely collection of the outstanding of the region
Reconciliation of accounts with the customers.
Settlement of claims and disputes of the customers.
Preparation of Debit Note and Credit Note proposals.
KRA4 4.Market Development and penetration
Implement market development plan to expand the market Launching new products in the market
Co-ordinate and interact with Govt. Company for registering as a regular Vendor
Identify and develop new customers and markets in the region.
KRA5 5.M.I.S.
Track competitors and market activities for decision support. Preparation and sending of MIS to head office to track the competitor activities and market activities for decision support.
Providing monthly sales plan to production department and monthly collection target to finance
KRA6 6. Statutory Obligation
Ensure timely compliance with excise and sales tax formalities. Arrange for Way Bills, F & E1 Forms for Stock Transfer
Timely payment of taxes.
Collection of Sales Tax Forms from Customers and maintaining Sales Tax, excise and other Statutory Records.
Timely filing of sales Tax and Excise returns of the depot and timely assessment of the same.
