Summary

Provides expertise in sustained customer success and growth in the post-sales customer lifecycle through training, professional services, technical support and customer advocacy with a Digital focus. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.

Roles and Responsibilities As Engineer, he/she will be involved in turnkey project deliveries for GE Digital in India and global regions. He/she will be working under Global Leader Telemetry Leader and will be part of Design and Engineering for Turnkey projects. The position is based in Noida, India.
Candidate must have knowledge in Telemetry Domain including RTU and Telemetry Adaptation Technologies. . The resource must be aware of various technologies and standards including following:

• Must have some exposure on RTU & Metering Technologies.
• Energy network management protocols (IEC101, 104, MODBUS, IEC 61850, etc…)
• Working knowledge on SAS / DCS System is also desired.
• Preparation of Adaptation Drawings, Datalist & Wiring files
• Complete Local testing from Control & Relay Panel to RTU Panel.
• Verification of control and protection wiring compatible will be desirable.
• Site Survey along with Customer& consultant for Substations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university or college
• Should have some exposure of RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) and Metering Technologies.
• Candidate must possess minimum experience of 1 – 3 years in Telemetry Domain
• Capacity to produce technical documentations (design and implementation documents,
  maintenance procedures, etc…)
• Must be process and methodology oriented to ensure quality project deliveries.
• Should have some awareness knowledge of EHS and must be able to work individually at site.
• Should be flexible to travel to project site on short not
• Candidate must be innovative thinker and should be adaptive to new technologies in their work domain.

Desired Characteristics

• Prior experience with field installation and commissioning will be highly desirable.
• Prior experience with RTU system design.
• Knowledge of Networking domain will be desirable.
• Fluent in English language including oral, reading and writing skills.
• Should be flexible to carry out missions at local and global sites (commissioning activity).
