Location- Pune/Bangalore

With ServiceNow, we are establishing a Centre of Excellence (CoE) located in India (Pune and Bangalore), which will support our transformation priorities. ServiceNow is integral to the creation of digital workflows throughout the bank's global operations and will help us simplify operations, empower employees, improve customer service, and bring innovation to market faster.

You will be joining the Foundational Platforms team responsible for strategy and development for the core, cross-technology software tool sets of IT Service Management, Asset Management and Risk Management. These products are vital to friction-less processes that are reliant on golden source data, and to enable intelligent use and management of the application/service estate. Foundational Platforms is responsible for driving improvement in the governance processes and exposing the data necessary to capitalize on analytics and automation opportunities.

Overall, Process Owners take full accountability and responsibility for the processes that run on the ServiceNow platform within a specific module (e.g. ITSM, ITOM)

They are responsible for defining and modelling the current state (as-is) and future state (to-be) processes and data flows, using the Bank's chosen Process modelling tools and within the Bank's overall Process framework, to defined standards. They will liaise with relevant internal stakeholders/SMEs (subject matter experts) to obtain the required information/data to create the Process maps, address any QA issues and coordinate business sign-off. The Process Modeller provides subject matter expertise on modelling methodology/standards and modelling tools and is an advocate of the Process Model within the functions/business units they support.

Your key responsibilities
  • Supporting the Senior Process Owners in ensuring the processes executed on the ServiceNow platform are understood and documented
  • Ensure clear lineage between regulations, control objectives and the processes that ensure the firm remains compliant
  • Measure process performance
  • Respond to enquiries from internal audit functions, explaining how the processes operate in the organisation
  • Assess changes to processes based on ServiceNow platform enhancements, firm led projects or external factors
  • Identify opportunities, diagnose issues, recommend and document solutions that deliver quality, flexibility or cost improvement using best practice methodologies
  • Building partnerships with other Foundational Platforms teams, such as product management and architecture, to understanding business outcomes and align teams to deliver
  • Delivering process training and coaching to non-process management roles to elevate the role and importance of Process excellence.
Your skills and experience
  • +5 years' process engineering experience within a large corporate complex environment
  • Lean / Six-sigma or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience of translating industry frameworks to processes that can be run consistently in a global organisation (e.g. COBIT / ITIL)
  • ServiceNow experience, within either ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, ITOM or IRM
  • Ability to work in global virtual teams and in matrix structures
  • Graduate Degree from a university (or equivalent diploma / work experience)
