Job Description


As a ServiceNow Consultant, you will be responsible for the validation of ServiceNow business requirements, development of system designs and processes, complex system configuration, development of custom features and enhancements, and complex report and database query development for one or more business systems or environments. You will collaborate with our clients to resolve their business problems by translating functional requirements into technical solutions.

Qualified candidates will be an expert on ServiceNow industry best practices processes and a deep understanding of the ServiceNow tool with experience implementing Incident/Problem/Change/IT Service Catalog and other modules in ServiceNow, integrating with ServiceNow, extensive tool customization and development and able to handle enhancements/defects in ServiceNow modules.

To be successful in this role, candidates will have good business analytical skills, a strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow Tool OOB (Out of the Box) concepts like Client Scripts, Ul Policy, Ul Actions, Business Rule, etc. and ITIL process implementation knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs complex configuration, custom development, testing and documentation supporting ServiceNow
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert for multiple applications, development platforms, development tools or technologies
  • Communicates impact of issues to senior IT and BU management
  • Collaborates with other IT functions to design solutions for complex problems and understands end-to-end business processes
  • Designs and develops integration solutions, data migration strategies and tools
  • Works independently with minimal supervision, serves as a mentor to team members and may lead a development team as part of a larger project
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: BE/BTech/MCA
  • 2-6 Years of ServiceNow consulting experience.
  • Preferred Certifications: ServiceNow Implementation, ITIL v3 , and ServiceNow Admin
  • Experience using multiple development tools such as JAVA Script, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, ODBC
  • Understanding of, and the ability to put into practice, industry standards for application and data security with emphasis on ITIL best practices
  • Demonstrated ability working in collaborative team environments setting priorities and achieving results.
