Your team comprises approximately 15 Software Engineers / Senior Software Engineers / Test Engineers who are skilled in the Engineering disciplines of ServiceNow /Cloud / Infrastructure, DevOps tooling, Integration, Application Infrastructure. Our GTS remit is broad and encompasses technical strategy, design, coding, all aspects of functional & non-functional quality assurance, build, deployment, service management and monitoring. Our GTS products and services are leveraged across all Business Unit Platforms within the Bank to deliver industry-leading software including: CommBank App, Netbank, CommSee, CommSec, CommBiz and Commbank.com.au website. Your impact & contribution & Your reporting lines You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow workflows, applications, and integrations to support our business operations and objectives. You will collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and provide technical solutions. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring compliance with established standards and policies and contributing to a positive team environment. You will have a strong background in ServiceNow development and a passion for staying current with emerging technologies and trends. Your responsibilities Adhere to the . Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit Testing, etc.) Develop, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow workflows, applications and integrations to meet key business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to gather and analyse requirements, provide delivery estimates and design/build technical solutions. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions, including root cause analysis and preventative measures. Ensure compliance with established software development standards, policies, and procedures, including code reviews and testing. Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Your skills & experience Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field At least 5+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in integration - techniques , technologies and ability design reliable integration Hands on experience on developing API, Connectors and Middleware solutions Hands-on experience in modules(any 2) like- CMDB, HRSD, CSM, ITOM, ITSM and Integration System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system Experience in troubleshooting issues, Optimize performance issues and stay updated on the latest platform issues, best practices is the key Understanding of environment - cloud, load balancer, data center is important Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow. Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell) Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle) Experience in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
