Job descriptionServiceNow Business Analyst:Years of experience - 6 YearsLocation - BangaloreIn the Solutions Development team each of our BA's work within a small squad of developers with a set of Platform responsibilities. They mainly work within the Demand phase of our processes and are responsible for ensuring each Demand is assessed and developed to a point where it can be considered for approval and moved to the squad backlog.Each squad is made up of a BA, a lead developer and developers. The BA has a key role in the success of the squad and is responsible for managing the squad ceremonies, working with the Head of function for clarity around priority and escalations. They will also be working within our BA community in the team to enhance processes and ensure consistency with their colleagues as well as supporting each other.Once in the backlog the BA continues to work in the squad at the agile ceremonies to ensure the squad are working on the right activities based on priority and value.Key success criteria are how we manage our stakeholders and the quality of our deliveries

  • A Business Analyst's primary role is to act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization, and recommend and implement solutions that enable our organization to achieve its goals.
  • The ServiceNow Business Analyst will be responsible for responding to any business demand engagement for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Assist with requirements gathering by using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis, as required to produce specifications.
  • Work with the wider Demand team for assessment and be the interface between the development teams and the wider business.
  • It is imperative that you have a solid understanding of "as is" "to be" in order to break the requirements into user stories that are suitable for iterative, incremental development.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is correctly gathered and maintained within the ServiceNow tool, they will lead the flow of requirements from the product backlog into sprint planning, providing a controlled, joined-up overall view of the business and functional requirements at a detailed level.
  • Communicate requirements so that development teams can work effectively, and ensure areas of complexity are understood and investigated appropriately to review opportunities, blockers, problems and issues that arise.
  • They will support measures to develop and improve implementation and adoption of the ServiceNow platform across the business. Assist in interpreting impact from supplier release notes and actively find opportunity to maximize benefit from new features where applicable.
Primary Skills:Mandatory skills
  • No of years of experience - minimum 6, of which at least 3 years should be as a Business Analyst in IT - Banking or Financial Services.
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform and related applications.
  • Strong engagement, communication and facilitation skills, including presentation and influencing skills
  • Should have experience in end-to-end functional Requirement Gathering, Functional Design, Impact Assessment, Business Analysis, Project delivery, Functional Testing and User Documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in working with cross functional teams / cross location teams.
  • The candidate should have been part of System Testing activities, or willing to drive such Testing (Test planning, Test case creating, Test data preparation, test management and reporting) as an-add on to Business Analyst role.
  • Awareness of ITILv3 Framework
  • Exposure to working in Agile, SAFe or DevOps environments
Secondary Skills:Good to Have
  • Should Understand the necessity of project standards and apply them consistently, develop internal and external objectives by prioritizing multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to anticipate client needs before they arise and presents solutions to project management that encompasses issues at hand.
Ability to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies on a time to time basis. Share acquired skills with team members through formal and informal channels.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: ?245,579.46 - ?1,289,541.62 per yearSchedule:
