Associate/ Sr. Associate IP - Mechanical We are looking for Associate/ Senior Associate to join our patent analytics team in Noida/Mumbai. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the Fortune 100 clients to support them on various phases in IP Life cycle management. Our team consists of highly skilled IP professionals that love addressing client's technical and strategic needs through analysis of patents, and we would love to speak with you if you have the skills and the passion to do the same. About You Bachelor's or Master's/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering 2 - 4 years in patent analysis and research domains Self-starter, meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Candidates having proficiency in MS Excel tools, including chart/graph generation, data handling, etc. will be preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills It would be great if you also had Working knowledge of analytical tools like PowerBI and Tableau Knowledge on US/EP Patent Laws What will you be doing in this role Performing patent landscape studies, white space analysis and competitive benchmarking analysis, and generating insights from the same Analyzing patent data in various analytical tools (Excel, PowerBI, etc.) Conducting searches in patent and non-patent databases Analyzing data using statistical and qualitative means, categorizing patents and non-patent literature into technology/sub-technology areas Performing various patent searches (for example, patentability, Freedom to Operate, patent validity/invalidity assessment, state of art, etc.) Hours of Work This is a full-time role requiring 45 hours per week based out of Noida/Mumbai, India (IST).
