Job Description

UST is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator will work in close partnerships with our ServiceNow business teams, as a ServiceNow System Administrator you\'ll seek to enhance and uplift the current business and support process. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and administration of IT Service Management environment, to create complex system configuration, development of custom features, enhancements, and complex report and database query development based on business team requirements. As part of the ServiceNow team, you\'ll contribute to own the development tasks of the solution based on integration of ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will understand configuration management principles. They will perform the necessary tasks to design and develop configurations and customizations on ServiceNow platform. You\'ll be instigating and driving cultural change to provide an environment to enable the teams to design/provide better, faster, more effective solutions, by building upon your existing knowledge and ability.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
  • Assist in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes
  • Understand how ServiceNow can enable the client to become more efficient and configure the platform to achieve measurable benefits
  • Coordinate application and platform upgrades
  • Develop systems integrations and process automation
  • Configure and maintain SLA, catalog items and their associated workflows
  • General support, administration, and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications
  • Working closely with IT and business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • ServiceNow System Admin certification (admin or higher)
  • Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge management applications
  • Experience in IT service management, ITIL certification preferred
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Ability to analyze raw results, determine/resolve bottlenecks, and create meaningful documentation of testing scenarios and results
  • 3-5 years\' experience with ServiceNow administration
  • Up-to-date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to ServiceNow, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • Experience troubleshooting integration management, security, and application issues
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and web service integrations using REST, SOAP, etc.
