Job description About the department Digital Data & IT GBS (Global Business Service) was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Digital Data & IT in HQ (Head Quarter). From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 800+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT GBS (Global Business Service) is to \'manage\' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. You will be a part of Cross IT Technologies team (xDD&IT Technologies). About the position This position holder will be responsible for performing tasks related to Testing Services as well managing services. The candidate will define and implement test strategy including roadmap, tools and deliver the services with acceptable service evaluations Involve in product design to ensure adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements. Identify, implement, and monitor test metrics related to the quality of testing services delivered Organizing, monitoring defect management process handling changes and conducting regression tests. Prepare software defect tracking and report entire project release status to stakeholders. Participate in audits and inspections related to the project supported. Continually improve processes around testing, coach, and mentor testers Act as a SME in Testing and provide expertise to diversified projects across business units Involve in capacity and resource management of the Testing projects within the Cross IT Services Testing CoE. Handle budget and SLA related activities at defined frequency. Increase Testing CoE footprint across different business units. Support in hiring or recruitment process, collaboration with supplier to strengthen the services as per SLA and report on any challenges Key responsibilities Overall accountable for the defining and implementing the test strategy and promoting good testing practices on their projects. Lead testing projects to ensure a successful delivery that also meets compliance standards. Focus areas include requirements analysis, test design, test case creation, test execution, test documenting and reporting. Improve capabilities of testing team through mentoring and coaching Support Validation Consultant and QA wherever required with the Testing expertise Manage Creation, enhancement, debugging, and running the test cases. Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling Efficiently review Test Plans, Test cases with respect to Requirements, author relevant document deliverables like protocols and reports. Demonstrate resourcefulness and ownership. Communicate and involve relevant stakeholders. Excellence in compliance and process understanding - Compliance with NN Quality Management System. Knowledge, Skills & Experience MCA, M.Sc., B.SC. BE or similar graduate degree in relevant field 10+ years of experience in working in a service level-based organization/Pharmaceutical industry preferably in Testing domain. Experience working with test management tools like HP ALM, Jira Knowledge of and experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, 21 CFR Part 11) Min 2+ years of experience in IT Service Management including capacity, resource planning and budget management.
