Service Management Engineer The Service Management Engineer will provide second line product support and guidance to fellow team members working with the Model N Revenue Management suite in the post implementation phase. You will be responsible for the daily management of tasks associated with services and support of Model N application Suite. You will facilitate meetings?when appropriate and engage other departments when additional services are required. You will?participate in technical support transition meetings, from Professional Services to Support, to have solid background and understanding of the client and their processes. You must possess?strong analytical and business skills and work well with team members. Strong?written and spoken English is a must. Responsibilities:?
  • Work closely with fellow?team members in the United States and India to provide?excellent product and customer support to Enterprise customers.
  • Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
  • Consulting and Co-ordinating with the professional services, product development, and product
  • management teams who may be involved in specific issues reported by customers.?
  • Learn the Product/s both technically and functionally, develop?domain knowledge.
  • Provide feedback to teams within Model N on root causes, issue patterns, and?recommended changes to processes, tools, and configurations to improve the overall?customer experience with the product.?
  • Replicate defects, enter in call tracking and/or bug tracking systems and follow-up to ensure timely resolution of issues.?
  • Assist with product testing and validation.?
  • Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
  • Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly along with excellent problem-solving skills.?
  • Ability to keep up with innovation in application design
Job Qualifications:?
  • 6-8 years Application Technical Support and/or L2 Product?Support experience, exposure to customer communication is plus.?
  • A bachelor\'s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.??
  • Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
  • Experience to provide Back/Front support to internal departments and web-based clients for enterprise software applications.?
  • Expertise in object-oriented design/programming/support like Java - Core Java and J2EE, HTML, XML, JavaScript preferably for web-based Enterprise Software.
  • Expertise on Oracle, SQL, Stored Procedures and SQL Performance Tuning.
  • Experience with application server deployment and configuration and Apache web server.
  • Expertise in enterprise software at the server and application level.
  • Knowledge and background in JBOSS administration and troubleshooting, including clustering
  • Preferred Knowledge on CI/CD using Jenkins & Docker on AWS Cloud.
  • Preferred development background with the development platform (Linux, AWS Cloud, SQL/PL-SQL and Eclipse IDE).
  • Preferred background in design and implementation of external services integrations (using REST, SOAP and/or ESB, Salesforce).
