The Service Boy is responsible for assisting in the smooth functioning of the stall by ensuring timely service, maintaining cleanliness, handling customers politely, and supporting the overall operations to provide excellent customer experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them in placing orders at the stall/counter.
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the stall, dining area, and service counters.
Refill water, condiments, napkins, and other service items as required.
Assist in stocking and replenishing food items during service hours.
Clear used plates, glasses, and disposables from tables or counters.
Handle basic cash transactions or tokens (if required).
Follow safety and hygiene standards (personal grooming, food safety, waste disposal).
Assist kitchen/stall staff in carrying food from preparation area to service area.
Provide courteous and prompt service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Report shortages, complaints, or any issues to the Stall Supervisor/Manager.
Skills & Requirements:
Basic communication skills.
Polite, customer-friendly, and presentable.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
Team player and willing to multitask.
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum 10th pass (preferred).
Prior experience in canteen/stall/food service (added advantage).
Freshers can also apply.
