Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Handling & Communication
Greet customers promptly and courteously at the service reception.
Understand customer complaints, requirements, and record details accurately.
Prepare job cards with complete information, ensuring clarity on customer concerns.
Explain estimates, repair details, and timelines to customers.
Provide regular updates to customers regarding job progress and delivery status.
Ensure customer satisfaction at vehicle delivery through proper explanation of work done and billing.
2. Workshop Coordination
Coordinate with technicians and foremen to ensure proper job allocation.
Monitor job progress and ensure completion within committed timelines.
Verify the quality of work before delivery and ensure all issues are resolved.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
3. Billing & Documentation
Prepare accurate cost estimates and obtain customer approval before starting work.
Verify spare parts and labor used in the job for billing accuracy.
Ensure proper invoicing, warranty documentation, and customer signature at delivery.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain records of repeat jobs and customer complaints for analysis.
Promote value-added services, AMC packages, and loyalty programs.
Aim to achieve high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.
5. Performance & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly targets for labor sales, customer satisfaction, and upselling.
Coordinate with the Service Manager for productivity and process improvement.
Attend regular training programs to enhance technical and communication skills.
Key Skills Required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and service procedures.
Ability to handle customer queries and resolve complaints effectively.
Computer proficiency (DMS / CRM systems preferred).
Time management and multitasking abilities.
Qualification & Experience:
Education:
Diploma / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 0
-5 years
in automobile service operations or customer handling.
Preferred Industry:
Automotive Dealership / Authorized Service Center.
