Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager-Legal Counsel Responsibilities: . Responsible for all compliances as per the regulatory framework applicable to the Company. . Drafting legal notices and replies of the legal notices as sent by employees or regulatory bodies. . Support in conducting due diligence from the perspective of labor laws and corporate laws for any merger, acquisition, or any corporate action. . Legal support to conduct enquiries and investigations as per the policies of the Company. . Shall provide all legal support to the cross functional teams of the Company as required. . Dealing with external counsels to manage litigations and provide updates to leaders in all ongoing matters. . Providing legal advice and support in interpretation of company policies and applicable laws. . Assess commercial and legal aspects of the contract for potential exposure to liability risks. . Liaise with business partners to resolve legal issues and mitigate liability risks. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications . Law degree - from a premium law school of India . Good knowledge of Indian laws with emphasis on labor laws and corporate laws. . Experience in the service industry, preferably the ITES industry, is desirable. . Should have a good grasp of commercial laws, regulations and legal concepts, policies and procedures related to IT and ITES. . Should have prior experience in handling all compliances as per labor laws. . Proven ability to lead and execute effectively at all levels of the organization. . Superior communication skills - both written and verbal - with a demonstrated ability to communicate to all teams and customers internally and externally to the business. . Strong knowledge on a wide range of legal subjects, ability to build on this knowledge, spot issues and bring in specialists as needed. . Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines ability to establish priorities and plan, coordinate and execute assignments, peer manage relations with colleagues of other disciplines. . Strong analytical ability, creativity, and sound judgment in resolving legal issues. . Relevant years of legal experience in a corporate preferably in a Multi-National Company. Significant experience with matters pertaining to compliance with labor laws will be preferred. . Experience of handling litigations and legal matters applicable to a Company will be desirable. . General understanding of vetting of vendor contracts in the IT/ITES industry. . Prior experience of working with leading corporates in the IT/ITES industry will be preferred. . Preferred Skills: . Knowledge of Foreign Exchange Management Act and Corporate laws . Exposure to any compliance management and litigation management tool will be an added advantage.
