Hybrid Working We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date. Introduction: As a manual tester within the Remediation Technology Team, this role will support the testing of the rapidly growing and changing requirements of the Remediation Portfolio Programmes. The role requires extensive knowledge of the Remediation department wide policies and procedures to ensure change is delivered in line with the strategic plans of the department. End to end in sight of the Remediation process workflow is essential in supporting the business through technical expertise and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the department wide target operating model. Comprehensive knowledge of the change life-cycle including system integration testing, through to implementation is essential. This will include ensuring updates to policies and producers are integrated and communicated as part of the change process, within the Technology and Business teams. This role will interact directly with major stakeholders outside of Technology, including Programme Directors and Project Managers. Key aspect of the role will be to understand and interpret complex testing requirements to implement solutions to meet Remediation project needs. There will be a requirement to put together testing strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and review these deliverables with technology BA team and acquire sign-offs to meet complex business requirements which will involve sophisticated solutions. The role requires a seasoned testing individuals with previous proven experience of owning, managing and delivering the testing cycles within a high demand Financial Industry environment. A high level of communication skills is needed, including interactive listening in order to negotiate with Technology Developers and Programme Directors/Managers to ensure the best changes are delivered within required timeframe and follow the overall strategy of the department. What will you be doing . Partner with the technology business analysts to understand current operational requirements, produce detailed testing documents like test plan, test scenario, test cases etc. . Participate into end to end regression testing of the application, automation of the common test scenarios, doing the triage of defects and work with technology team to fix defects. . Participate into UAT handover, UAT demo to business users and supporting the UAT with proper triage of defects and fix the same with help of technology team after resting. . Negotiate with the business stakeholders to differentiate between defects, new requirements, or change in existing implemented requirement, which will ensure to keep changes on track with requirements, ensuring limited/no scope creep to ensure delivery within the required timeline. . Presenting test strategy and test plans to Project Managers and other key stakeholders gain approval, highlighting commercial effectiveness of the testing cycle. . Support and contribute to the Programmes and work streams in project test planning and UAT planning . Execute Systems Integration Testing, identifying defects for resolution and executing 100% of test scenarios, additionally tailoring test execution depending on the risk profile of the release . Working closely and negotiating with Developers to ensure defects are correctly managed - classified, triaged, and fixed within required timelines. . Provide assurance on SIT testing and suitability to hand over to User Acceptance Testing . Facilitate the definition of solution acceptance criteria . Oversight of end to end change process and point of contact throughout conception to implementation . Interact with other Senior Business Analysts within Technology and the business to ensure the highest level of support is maintained, common issues overcome and collaborate to ensure the team are kept up to date with the latest changes. Exposure to SQL Server, VBA, SQL Development . Familiarity with relational databases . Familiarity with JIRA, confluence . Exposure to Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies . Ability to produce test plan, test scenarios, test cases etc. . Excellent understanding of MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, SQL . Testing methodologies & strong documentation skills Business . Proven track record as a Quality/Test Analyst or SME in the relevant area . Experience of analysis, creativity and innovation and able to conceive original and practical solutions to complex and business critical problems . Experience in Software Testing, ideally within an agile environment . Experience guiding and working with test teams. Experience coordinating user testing, issue resolution and retesting. . Ability to quickly understand the scope of a project/work stream and support its objectives to \'hit the ground running\' in an unfamiliar environment . Ability to engage stakeholders across the Portfolio and gain consensus to a common approach Skills that will help you in the role: Competencies . Good time management/works estimation .
