Title: Senior Test Engineer (Manual Testing) Location: Mumbai Experience: 7-9 Years Work Model: Hybrid
: -7 to 9 years of experience in testing complex data-intensive analytical solutions -Graduates with B.E./B.Tech/MCA/BAC in computer science/engineering/IT -Strong analytical skills and sound concepts of manual testing -Expert and hands-on in manual testing frameworks (Sanity Testing, Functional, Regression, Smoke testing) -Able to generate different combinations of positive and negative test cases to cover up 100% test coverage -Should be able to interact fluently with developers, product managers, BAs and other cross functional teams. -Exposure on desktop based testing like installer testing on different OS and browsers -Should be able to write optimized queries as part of database validation -Sound concepts of API testing using Postman -Knowledge of agile methodology. -Good English communication skills (both written and verbal). Job Responsibilities: -Passionate about functional testing -Go getter, should be able to initiate and drive discussions with Product Managers/BA, Developers to understand the clear set of requirements -Develop test plan, test cases for user stories in routine sprints -Develop functional regression and sanity suites -Be an agile tester who can switch the context easily. -Collaborate with agile-scrum teams to deliver sprint items on time as per agile cycle and participate into all agile ceremonies -Develop and maintain test artefacts. -Coordination with the test team and other teams and should be responsible to establish proactive on-going operating mechanisms. -Be a good team player -Mentor other team memebrs on product and support automation team members by creating different sets of testdata -Suggest and implement better solutions for any use case in hand Good to have: -Automation expsoure/concepts -Coding exposure in Python -ISTQB certification -Financial domain basic knowledge -Exposure in Performance testing
