Senior Technology Consultant - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

Our client, a global consulting firm, is currently engaged in a significant digital transformation project with a government agency. The objective of this project is to digitize and automate the agency\'s existing operations.

The project scope has been defined, and it includes several key modules:

A. Website Revamp and Chatbot

B. Supervisory portal setup for all stakeholders

C. Data and analytics platform and information management system

D. Internal Digitalization

- The government agency is taking the lead in enhancing its technological capabilities. They plan to develop and implement a comprehensive, modular, API-based platform to modernize their operations, improve service delivery, and provide a seamless experience for users. To ensure the successful implementation of this ambitious project, the agency intends to hire a technical vendor through an RFP (Request for Proposal) process.

- In this regard, they are seeking a technology consultant who has experience running an RFP process and implementing IT projects with government organizations. This individual will play a crucial role in managing the RFP process, acting as a liaison between the organization, potential vendors, and other government agencies, and driving the project to successful completion.

- The primary focus of the role will be to onboard the appropriate system integrator and oversee the RFP process. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

RFP Management:

a. Oversee and manage the entire RFP process.

b. Review and evaluate proposals and bids, coordinating with legal and financial experts when necessary.

Project Coordination:

a. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for the development and implementation of digitization and automation solutions.

b. Ensure adherence to project deadlines and budgets.

The scope of the role may also involve project implementation alongside the selected vendor.

Key skills and experience required:

- Enterprise application architecture/solution architecture experience

- Preferred experience in the financial services (FS) sector

- Expertise in managing RFP processes, particularly in the government sector

- Technical competence: Knowledge and experience working on multiple large technology projects involving native applications and downstream integrations

- IT project management: Proven ability to manage complex IT projects, preferably related to digitization and automation

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Knowledge of IT security standards and data protection regulations

This is a contractual opportunity with an initial 12-month contract. The selected consultant will be based in Delhi for the duration of the project.
