Your Career

As a vital member of the Prisma Cloud Technical Documentation team, you play a crucial role in shaping an outstanding product experience. As a senior/lead technical writer for the Prisma Cloud cybersecurity platform, you will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to craft documentation that empowers administrators, developers, and security teams to secure their cloud deployments from the early stages of software development and throughout the application lifecycle.

You will be actively involved through all stages of the software release life cycle and the strategic and tactical activities of documenting and evangelizing the capabilities of the Prisma Cloud platform. Your dedication to producing detailed, engaging content isn\'t just a task-it\'s a direct contribution to helping customers seamlessly adopt Prisma Cloud, ensuring customer success.

Your Impact

• Champion the customer perspective and seamlessly integrate into a successful team dedicated to empowering developers and cloud security practitioners for secure outcomes
• Take ownership of the entire authoring and publishing process, ensuring that our content is easily accessible to users
• Develop a deep and extensive understanding of the product, enabling the documentation of end-to-end workflows that assist users in maximizing their security assessment and enforcement capabilities
• Proactively identify content gaps, addressing them with best practices, workflow enhancements, and troubleshooting information, all aimed at providing users with comprehensive, clear, and accurate documentation
• Embrace feedback to continually enhance the quality of our content
• Adhere to established processes and style guidelines, maintaining a uniform and cohesive voice across all documentation
• Create and deliver quality content consistently aligned with product release schedules

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Proven ability to excel independently within a dynamic environment while collaborating seamlessly with distributed team members
• Minimum of 5 years of proficiency, specialize in developing and sustaining user-friendly and detailed software product documentation designed for a technical audience - Emphasizing simplicity and ease of use, this encompasses the creation of a variety of materials, including administrator guides, developer guides, implementation/migration guides, onboarding tutorials, and use cases
• Proficient in the art of authoring with Markdown, AsciiDoc, or DITA/XML - ensuring content is not just informative but engaging for the intended audience
• Mastery of collaborative tools such as Git, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence, streamlining the documentation process and facilitating seamless teamwork
• Proficiency in capturing the nuances of cloud computing technologies, covering areas like virtualization, containerization, serverless computing, multi-tenancy, service-oriented architecture, DevOps, DevSecOps, and/or cybersecurity, to empower and assist our valued customers is preferred

The following skills and experiences are preferred:

• Experience or formal training in structured authoring with DITA/DocBook, information architecture principles, or technical editing
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
• Experience in creating gifs for engaging documentation
