Job Description
SME Video Engineer - Video sets network engineering guidelines and standards used to deploy, operate and maintain LLA s Video Core networks. Key Accountabilities: Deploy, configure, upgrade, modify, and retire core video platform elements Develop and maintain core video platform standards and operational practices incorporating industry best practices Engineering lead on core video platform implementation projects Conduct core video platform installation surveys and audits Supervise all installation projects and audit compliance to LLA quality standards Create and review detailed configuration procedures (MOPs) Configure, integrate, and verify core video platform elements Review and close core video platform installation projects Maintain core video platform administration records, diagrams and configurations Manage and control core video platform resources Assess and maintain video service continuity, performance and quality Provide operational support for major video service incidents as requested Create and maintain troubleshooting and repair procedures Identify service analysis and diagnostics tools and methods Lead video platform disaster recovery and restoration Lead technical discussions and solutions with vendor, supplier and manufacturers of technology Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
