Senior Technical Architect
Job Description
Approves and directs all architectural activities for an architectural domain or specific technology area, and reivews Project Architectural definitions. Creates and maintains Architecture Roadmaps at an individual technology level as well as Technology Standards. Defines business needs and requirements with clients and client stakeholders in order to translate them into technical specifications, including defining and managing project plans and system design and clarifying and resolving unique and difficult issues related to client deliverables. Acts as a point of contact to provide insight and credible technology advice balancing the functionality, costs and risks of the proposed technologies to maximize business value. Supervises project teams and oversees activities and staff related to implementation. Supervises Architects/Developers as well as technical partners and technology subcontractors. Assigns, directs and evaluates work performed. Supervises initiatives to improve product, promote standardizations, and identify product design changes, development of prototypes and recommendations of product and process enhancement ideas.
