The Global Recruitment team comprises onshore & offshore teams.
They work collaboratively to support all business divisions within UK, US, Poland and India location. The Offshore team comprises Recruitment Admin, Sourcing specialists and Recruitment specialists. Recruitment specialists support recruitment for roles (UK below £60k) (US Prof/tech) (National – all roles), Sourcing specialists are aligned to both onshore and offshore recruiters to support direct sourcing and the Recruitment admin takes care of recruitment processes and on boarding.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager leads the offshore (India based team) in Bangalore & Chennai and reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition who is based in the UK.
Main Purpose of Job
The role of Senior TA manager will be to manage the relationships with global business stakeholders and HR teams across all businesses & territories. Engage and partner with the regional and in-country HRBP and Resourcing Business Partners & Hiring mgrs., to ensure a two-way flow of information, building a strong partnership across the global hiring community. Accountable for leading the global offshore team, whilst also partnering with respective HR and Business areas to define and deliver resourcing activity globally. Develop and influence Line Managers to undertake resourcing activity, including considering future needs and capability gaps.

  • Present resourcing deliverables, projects and MI in global business and HR forums
  • Ensuring optimum business experience and satisfaction – HM Feedback/candidate feedback
  • Partners with the Head of Talent Acquisition in supporting strategic objectives
  • Deliver all Resourcing KPIs consistently
  • Design, implement and monitor KPIs for team members
  • Develop HR Resourcing expertise and knowledge in the delivery of recruitment policy and practice, as well as to manage the delivery of process
    and operational efficiencies, which are compliant with bank and legislative requirements,
    thereby enabling business areas to meet their resourcing strategy and hiring plans
  • Coach and train recruiters to deliver interviewing and assessment skills training
  • Use sector knowledge (UK/India/US) to guide the recruiting teams in developing effective and proactive talent pipelines
  • Provide timely and accurate management information on resourcing activity
  • Contribute to the validation, review, development and implementation of resourcing techniques
  • Source, analyse and report on market intelligence / data for candidates, competitors and
    attraction techniques to information resourcing plans, and resourcing policy

Core Duties and Responsibilities
The core duties will include:
  • Delivery of a proactive recruitment service, through leading, & developing the team.
  • Ensure full visibility or resourcing MI and delivery.
  • Ensuring work is undertaken to identify and pipeline strong calibre applicants.
  • Works with regional and in-country Resourcing teams to increase customer satisfaction
    through better quality of hires and improved candidate experience.
  • Supports workforce planning to enable proactive recruitment.

You will also be required to:
  • Ensure a compliant and efficient resourcing service in line with KPI timescales
  • Optimise working practice through the constant analysis and improvement to existing systems and process
  • Ensuring talent / diversity targets are tracked and progressed e.g. women represented on shortlists
  • Collaborate with Development teams to ensure policy is developed / enhanced as required

Leadership &Teamwork
  • The team is matrixed by the nature of the Global and Regional structure.
  • Ensures the impact of policy decisions on recruitment are understood and mitigated
  • Sharing recruitment plans and recruitment related business information with outsourced vendor to support hiring manager and candidate experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential for the role:
Understanding and experience of a global resourcing function.
  • Experience working in relevant environment / s, i.e. significant resourcing / HR experience and track record of working in partnership with senior management and other HR colleagues in a large matrix environment
  • Knowledge of the recruitment market and well networked across the sector.
  • Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Experience of using Workday & knowledge of broader recruitment technology
  • Proven experience of leading the delivery of an excellent customer service and proactively look for innovative ways to improve the service delivered to customers
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long-term goals which exceeded the standards.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Contributed productively to team objectives, supporting and leading activities to achieve shared goals
  • A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications
  • A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
  • Experience of building and managing complex relationships with significant customers
