About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer...

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Required Qualifications, US:

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Develop excellent application and functional knowledge for Commercial Banking application
• Effective Incident and Problem Management
• Run Incident calls taking care of Triage, communication, escalation, root cause analysis
• Work on User support tickets
• Identify automation opportunities and implement them
• Monitor the application, application health checks, observability, defect replication in lower environment, post release checks and validation, Weekend On call responsibility, Build effective documentation
• Identify efficiencies and realize them with process improvements, automation, collaboration with Dev and Operations teams
• Understanding and exposure working in teams implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices
• Develop ability to perform IBM BPM code deep dive to investigation issues and root causes and identify improvements
• Documentation of the production SOP and work around
• Reporting around critical production metrics
• Participate in LOB level initiatives

Essential Qualifications

• University degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Technology.
• Hands on experience of 4+ years in Application and Production Support with hands on experience with IBM BPM (Business Process Management), Linux Operating System, Oracle database
• Hands on experience with one or more of these tools - Splunk, App Dynamics, ITRS Geneos, Autosys
• Good understanding of Incident & Problem Management and Service Now
• Self-starter with good verbal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Desired Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Understanding of technologies like Microservices, PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), Kafka, React JS and uDeploy
• Hands on with at least one of the scripting language - Shell Script, Perl, Python or RPA UI PATH
• Banking domain exposure primarily in KYC/AML and/or Commercial Banking area
