  • Supporting AWS EC2 instances, S3 buckets, & Elastic load balancers; as well as Azure DevOps, Cloud Workspaces (AppStream) for Code Deployment and Automation.
  • Utilizing the latest in Operation Monitoring tools, e.g. New Relic, OpsRamp, Sumo Logic.
  • Utilizing Service Management tools, e.g. Service Now, PagerDuty.
  • Working with Security Tools like Sentinel One & Rapid 7 to remediate vulnerabilities.
What you will do
  • Collaborate with Delivery Teams to install/configure Web/App/Mid-tier/DB software, services, & utilities for final Operational Turnover. Validate Patching, Backup, & Monitoring processes.
  • Provide daily OPS Support for 700+ Windows/Linux servers including Incident response, User Access requests, Systems Integration support, & strict Change control processes.
  • Attend reoccurring as well as reactive MS Teams meetings for WIP Tasks, Projects, Incident resolution, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Support Global Application & Database DEV teams, immediately addressing any client facing and internal issues by utilizing profession triage, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • SysOps Admins work closely with the Systems Architect & DevOps Engineers to support client Projects, Requests, Incidents, & Problem Resolution using strict change control.
  • Seek out opportunities to leverage Automation within the infrastructure environment using tools like Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server, Nolio, and scripting languages.
  • Consult with 3rd-party vendors and interact with internal Service Desk / IT personnel for problem resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous compliance of the server infrastructure.
Qualifications
  • Senior level experience required with OS Systems Administration balanced between MS Windows Servers & RedHat Enterprise Linux\xe2\x80\xa6certification a plus. Most servers are virtualized using VMware ESX technology; however, there is a significant base of high-end physical hosts using Dell & HP.
  • Substantial knowledge of Web Engineering including Web/App/API Hosting, Web-proxy, caching, appPool / bufferPool tuning, cookie/session mgmt, and SSL Certificate mgmt. on primarily Microsoft IIS Windows servers.
  • Experience with Apache HTTP Server, and NGINX on Linux a plus!
  • Experienced with SMB/NFS File Shares in a Multi-Domain / MS Active Directory environment. The SysOps Admin must be able to create Windows SMB Shares & Linux NFS mount points; with proper security permissions to support 100s of power users, developers, DBAs, and application owners.
  • Windows & MAC users that the SysOps team supports; connect to critical files and databases in real time with complex drive mappings, NFS mount points (NIS a plus), API calls, DB connection strings, SQL clients and utilities. Knowledge of DB clients for Oracle, MSSQL, & PostgreSQL a plus.
  • Familiar with IAM best practices using Active Directory & LDAP. The SA needs to query AD to research Domain Account IDs used by our Associates to determine ID & PW status, Security Group membership, Manager/Approver ID, and email addresses.
  • A SysOps Admin must leverage a variation of tools, utilities, clients, and diagnostics. Experience using batch files, PowerShell scripts, and Unix shell scripts (bash, sh, ksh); automates daily tasks and allows for a highly productive and enjoyable work environment.
  • The Epsilon Network Architecture is highly sophisticated and secure; so, the SA must have solid experience with TCP Networking and working with Network Engineers on the following:
  • Protocols: HTTP(s), RDP, SSH, SFTP/FTPS, DHCP, DNS, SMB, CIFS, NFS, etc.
  • Devices: F5 Load Balancers, Firewalls, Routers, Switching, Intrusion Protection, WAFs, etc.
  • IP Networking: IP Addressing of vLANs/AWS VPCs, CIDRs, Subnets, DMZ, Firewall Rules.
  • VIP Design: DNS, NAT, LB, HTTP redirect, Web Pools, Port Bindings, SSL Certs.
  • Basic understanding of Storage technologies like SAN, NAS, nVME, vDisks, & storage pools.
  • Operational Monitoring plays a big part in the Role of the SysOps team. New Relic is currently our main tool for infrastructure monitoring, systems & application logging management, dynamic tracing with APMs, dashboards for reporting/alerting, and synthetic testing.
  • Must have broad knowledge of Remote Access methods and tools. Experience with the following a plus: SSH with puTTY, ASG-Remote Desktop, MS RDP, mRemoteNG, MobaXterm, etc.
  • Experience preferred with SFTP Server and Client Technologies: GlobalScape EFT, MFT goAnywhare, CoreFTP, FileZilla, WinSCP. Knowledge of workflows and scripting with SFTP apps a big plus!
  • Preferred experience with AWS Cloud Services; EC2 Instances, S3 Buckets, VPCs, IAM mgmt.
Professional Qualifications
  • A Sr. SysOps team member must have the ability to professionally facilitate meetings and share applications during technical bridge calls with Associates, internal clients, and sometimes external Customers & Vendors.
  • Highly productive with MS BackOffice Apps including, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, & OneDrive. These apps are key to documenting the infrastructure environment and support processes of the SA team.
  • The SysOps Admin needs to be a \xe2\x80\x9cteam player\xe2\x80\x9d; however, they should also be able to work autonomously (without supervision) for portions of their shift. After hours On-Call support is schedule on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with an associate or bachelor\'s degree.
