Job Summary:

The

Senior Steward

oversees the stewarding team to ensure all kitchen, bar, and service areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked. This role plays a key part in keeping operations smooth during high-volume hours and maintaining hygiene standards required in a nightlife F&B environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Hygiene

Supervise and assist in washing dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen, bar, and service areas Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment (dishwashers, etc.) Deep-clean kitchen floors, walls, storage, and waste areas on schedule

Inventory & Stocking

Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and stewarding materials Ensure proper storage and availability of clean glassware and kitchenware Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to keep high-demand items stocked during service

Team Supervision

Lead and train junior stewards on cleaning procedures and safety standards Assign stewarding tasks and monitor performance Ensure stewarding team follows hygiene and grooming policies

Health & Safety Compliance

Follow food safety and sanitation protocols (HACCP, etc.) Ensure chemical handling procedures are followed correctly Assist in daily checklists and hygiene audits

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in stewarding, preferably in bars, lounges, or high-volume restaurants Knowledge of cleaning procedures, kitchen hygiene, and equipment handling Ability to lead a small team and delegate tasks efficiently Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, hot environment Flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
