Team Product Operations | Technical Training & Enablement designs, develops, and delivers learning solutions for ServiceNow\'s Product organization. We partner with leaders in our Cloud Services, Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, and other technology teams to help them realize their business priorities by delivering measurable outcomes through technical training and enablement. Role As a member of the team, you\'ll partner with teammates and key stakeholders to evaluate, design, develop and deliver effective learning solutions to empower our Product organization. You\'ll apply knowledge and understanding of the essential aspects of curriculum design and development to execute learning strategies, deliver learning outcomes, and maximize the learning experience. The successful candidate will be a curious, analytical, resourceful, team-oriented, and intrinsically motivated individual with a strong instructional design background What you get to do in this role: Conduct needs analysis that leads to effective design strategies aligned with company and organizational goals and articulates the measurable business impact of the learning solution. Design high quality learning programs and curriculum strategies for a variety of delivery types (eLearning, video, instructor-led, blended, etc ) in partnership with individuals and groups, across multiple organizations. Acquire and synthe knowledge and information from subject matter experts, process owners, peers, documentation, and other sources to create innovative design strategies. Lead other Instructional Designers/Curriculum Developers in identifying and applying instructional modalities, techniques, and methods for planning, designing, and developing instructional content for highly complex enablement programs. Collaborate with Project Managers and Learning Business Partners to coordinate activities for geographically dispersed teams, define project timelines, identify priorities and risks, and resolve issues and blockers. Adhere to appropriate instructional standards and best practices to create storyboards for eLearning and video. Receive and incorporate feedback from peers and subject matter experts. Write scripts for voice over audio and instructional text. Work collaboratively with eLearning Developers, Multi-Media Developers, and graphic designers to turn storyboards and scripts into finished deliverables. Conduct course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training and incorporate measurement and assessment results into future projects. Anticipate how changes in the organization or industry may impact the team and identify innovations to the way we design, develop, and deliver training. Contribute to thought leadership on instructional design best practices and champion enhancements/improvements/innovations to design processes and lead in the implementation efforts of these improvements. Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: Experience partneringwith a team of learning business partners, project managers, curriculum designers and developers, instructors, and learning platform administrators to develop, deliver and optimize technical training.Proven expertise in modern course development and delivery methods and tools. An innovative design approach that is not limited by a particular tool or method. Knowledge of adult learning principles, course development methodologies (ISD, ADDIE, SAM), and Kirkpatrick\'s training evaluation levels. Experience designing and developing a variety of learning offerings: web-based/eLearning, video, instructor-led classes, blended learning, assessments. Demonstrated technical writing ability with emphasis on writing scripts for eLearning and video narration and the ability to follow pre-determined writing guidelines. A successful formula for collaborating with and extracting knowledge from subject matter experts to create content that achieves the learning objectives. Demonstrated experience with learning and design tools, including eLearning development tools and learning management systems. Articulate Storyline and Rise strongly preferred. Practical use of Camtasia, Premier Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Expertise in using an eLearning development tools, Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Captivate, preferred. Experience with analyzing data to draw conclusions, assess impact and make recommendations for updates to training. Outstanding executive level verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills. A strong desire for continuous improvement and driven to achieve goals. The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary global team with a flexible work style. The ability to learn quickly, be curious, open to feedback and highly adaptable to change Strong organizational skills and is disciplined with time to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years\' experience in a technical training environment, preferably for Engineering, Support, Cloud Services, and/or Product organizations within a major technology company that uses instructional design with eLearning. Master\'s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design and Learning Technology or equivalent experience. Experience building large, multi-audience, highly complex learning programs from the ground up. JV20 For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $120,420 - $210,780, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
