This position is for a Trade & Customs systems Analyst role. The role is expected to be as a bridge between the business (CoE & Regional Managers) and the IT department for development, debugging, automation and other systems-oriented facet of the Customs team.

The expectations would be to understand requirements, coordinate and communicate it across, so good documentation and communication skills (writing & speaking) are mandatory.
This would be a full-time on-site role (remote working as an exception on need basis).

What You Will Do

1. Business Requirement gathering from the CoE and regional managers for any SAP GTS, other tools, or IT related ask. Document the requirements and coordinate with the appropriate IT functions for development, enhancement or debugging.
2. Upload of Global Trade data content from service provider (like Descartes etc.) into the Trade management tool (SAP GTS) on time, every time. Follow up with content provider upon any delays and ensure all data content is uploaded and updated.
3. Duty rates, new HTS codes, measures etc.
4. Continuously explore for new tools, other service providers in the market and present to the business (Regional managers, CoE) and assist with setting up demos with the 3 rd party.
5. Gather requirement and develop automations for any manual processes within the CoE or outside the CoE team using tools like Power Automate or others. Document the automation and get sign off from requestors.
6. Explore functionalities and coordinate for implementation of key modules within SAP GTS like
7. Self-filing Customs declaration
8. Broker enablement module
9. LTSD
10. Preference processing
11. Export control.
12. Consistently interact with the business for improvement areas, suggest enhancements and implement resulting in eliminating non-productive / manual tasks.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
1. Any Degree. BCA, B.E IT or Computer Science. Preferred degree in Computer / systems background
2. English is essential whilst fluency in one of the other major languages would be a distinct advantage.
3. Good understanding of the Trade & Customs operations at high level, to understand how the business impacts are assessed.
4. Very strong communication (non-verbal & verbal).
5. Knowledge in SAP GTS module and SAP module.

What Will Put You Ahead

• RPA tools like Power Automate or UI path
• SAP Analytics and Reporting
• Microsoft Power Apps, Fiori Apps knowledge
• Basics on PowerPoint, Word and excel
• Excel macro writing knowledge.
