Division/Department Location Job Title Associate No of position Reports to Title Level/Grade : Type of position: Hours / week Stream Middleware Full-time Exempt Part-time Nonexempt Contractor Intern General Description Responsibilities :- - Adhering to SLAs - ITIL Processes awareness and adhering to - Mentoring / Training Team Members - Handling tickets / requests - Perform root cause analysis - Troubleshooting technical issues - Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to - Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration - Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA - Understanding of Multi-geo support environment - Responsible for building / maintaining a test environment - Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario - Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction - Suggests new technologies and design changes - Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members - Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support - Suggesting patches/upgrades to maintain security level - Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time - Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating - Assist / Plan / Procedure in Data centre consolidation efforts - Perform H/W & performance tuning and maintenance - Day-to-Day reporting analysis tasks - Vendor co-ordination & followup Technical Requirements Server Installation, administration and Maintenance Install, Configure, and Maintain OFM Products in standalone and clustered environments on any UNIX OS and Windows Platforms: Weblogic Server (WLS), SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus (ESB/OSB),Oracle OEM, Oracle HTTP Server, Apache WebServer and IIS. IBM WebSphere AS/ND, WebSphere Portal/Commerce Suite Tomcat Application Server standalone and clustered environment Maintain Application Environment -Ensures that the technical environment is updated with current, stable versions of software products that comply with approved architecture and system standards. -Ensures availability and performance of WebLogic/OSB/SOA, WebSphere AS/ND and Tomcat environment. -Conducts proactive/reactive performance monitoring / analysis to identify system errors and bottlenecks to assist in tuning Application servers and supported Applications. -Plans, coordinates, tests and implements installations / upgrades / releases of systems, software and hardware. -Monitoring servers using available monitoring tools and handling alerts, notifications. -Coordinate Activities with Other Teams -Create and Maintain Accurate Documentation -Documents and maintains installation procedures, problem resolutions, and environment configurations. -Document and maintains Disaster Recovery procedures. -Contributes to the development of policies and procedures related to installation, maintenance and inventory. -Documents and maintains procedures and requirements for external integration into applications. -Knowledge on WebLogic/WebSphere/Tomcat Clustering. -Develop metrics to measure performance, capability, capacity, and to report on all aspects of system operations. -Deployment of applications, creation of Data sources, JMS destinat Qualification B-Tech Skill (Primary) EPS-Application Infrastructure-Message-Oriented Middleware
