PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Support Group procurement team, Sourcing Life Science RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES: . Data support & collection (internal / external) . Tracking progress of projects (follow up) . Reporting support (e.g., List updates, generating reports) . Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies for direct materials . Partner with other colleagues in other functions (e.g., Production, Quality, Marketing and R&D) to identify and implement new opportunities for Cost/Inventory Savings, Supply Security, and Sustainability improvements . Support management of supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with and performance of contract terms and chasing continued improvement . Support, as a team member, strategic sourcing initiatives. BASIC QUALIFICATION: . Bachelor\'s degree in business or supply chain or 8-10 years of work experience in planning, inventory, purchasing, sourcing, and vendor management with ERP/MRP systems. . Technical proficiency with appropriate procurement systems and analytic tools. . Knowledge of MS office package (outlook, word, power point, excel and access) . Ambitious, engaged & flexible. .
