Packaging SME (Competency: P4)

Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 8+ years of experience in the IT Industry

• 5+ years of experience in application packaging and deployment via MECM.

• Applications Packaging (both native, MSIX, Driver packaging and App-V), including PowerShell and Application packaging for MECM and Intune based deployment.

• Experience in packaging complex engineering applications using Flexera admin studio, Driver file management, Application layering (App Attach/ App Volume).

• Strong knowledge of Windows registry.

• Strong knowledge of security principles and securing Windows 10, Windows 11.

• Experience with Desktop Management Technologies (MECM, Intune)

• Experience with Application Packaging Technologies (Admin Studio)

Description \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and maintain relevant technical and procedural documentation.

• Patch management and Updates for Enterprise (Core) and In-House Applications.

• Application packaging and deployment adhering to SLA and KPIs.

• Application Readiness (Application Inventory gathering, Rationalization and liaising with application owner on install instruction, media validation and UAT testing).

• Perform User-Machine-Software mapping to arrive at optimum rollout plan for application and devices while considering business criticality and Priority.

• Create and maintain automated application deployment packages.

• Develop software installation scripts and provide code review for complex software installation.

• Build common application packages into MECM, Intune and deploy onto servers and workstations.

• Implement automations for significant reduction in manual efforts.

• Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential.

Technical Competence \xe2\x80\xa2 PowerShell scripting

• MECM Task sequence knowledge

• Windows 10 and Windows 11 Image testing and optimization

• MECM/ Intune based deployment
