W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki.Find more about W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4:About IM Function:Information Management (IM) is a Global Function that develops, manages, and operates IT Services globally in W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 respecting the differences in the businesses to ensure that W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 gets strategic value from the use of technology and information.Purpose of the Role:We are looking for a mid-senior level IT Service expert who is experienced in defining, developing, leading, and managing Data Archiving and Data Life Cycle Management solutions, strategy, and roadmaps in accordance with organizational requirements. This is an individual contributor role under the ERP platform which requires collaborating with cross-team members to identify data sets for archives, set up rules, and ensure data security and retrieval strategy as per business needs. Besides this, the role will also be responsible for managing the deliverables using standard IM processes, best practices, and other relevant methodologies.This position is full-time, permanent, and based in Wartsila India, Navi Mumbai office.The Sr Solution Manager will be primarily responsible for:

• Define, manage, and deliver the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for SAP archiving and data lifecycle management solutions.
• Leading and defining archiving rules for SAP S/4HANA.
• Defining the IT service and product management of the archiving and data lifecycle management-related solutions for SAP ERP.
• Securing data volume management and archiving operations are provided by our AMS partner timely and with quality.
• Timely archiving of our Legacy ERP systems (SAP ECC ERP)
• Assess, plan, and implement continuous improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of the deliverables.
• Participate and provide inputs in the renewal project of our current archiving solution.
• Collaborate with other teammates to ensure operational excellence and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Manage solution documentation relevant to your solutions, such as functional & technical design, RCA, application governance, concept design, etc.
• Ensure adoption, development, optimization, and automation of service operations processes, in collaboration with the ERP team & AMS partner.

Qualification Criteria:

• Completed Bachelor/master\'s degree in technology from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 10 years of professional & proven experience in Data archiving and life cycle management for ERP platforms for global organizations.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience in data archiving, information life cycle management (ILM), data retention tools (DART), content servers, data compression, etc.
• Hands-on experience in migrating SAP data to SAP or non-SAP archiving applications.
• Experience with S/4 HANA or ECC database with a good understanding of FICO transaction data would be advantageous.
• Technical expertise in SAP Basis, NetWeaver, Dual-Stack, etc would be a plus.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) & Agile (Scrum) software development lifecycle would be advantageous.
• Excellent Problem-solving, decision-making, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal, and Excellent command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
